Dealership sales consultants struggled to locate critical vehicle specifications quickly during live sales conversations. I led the design effort to unify two separate platform ecosystems onto a single CMS. Through qualitative research and data analytics, I designed mobile-first navigation, filtering, and structured landing pages to serve over 360,000 dealership personnel.

Honda Info Center Transformation

At Square, I was the lead product designer on the Payroll Employees team. ‘On-Demand Pay’ is a financial service that allowed the Employees of Square Merchants to access a portion of their earned wages at clock-out. This project created a stronger connection between Square Inc. and Cash App.

On-Demand Pay Financial Service

Hourly employees needed a seamless way to onboard and manage their pay before their first day on the job. I led the creation of a UX vision for the Team App onboarding experience. Proposed projects included designing mobile workflows that reduced time-to-first-shift and minimized barriers to trying paid financial services. By partnering closely with Product and Engineering, we took a fragmented setup and created a roadmap for a unified, intuitive employee experience.

Employee Onboarding Vision

Keeping track of customer data allows merchants to build deeper relationships with their buyers. I designed core features for Square Customer Directory, establishing structured information architecture and reusable UI patterns to help millions of sellers track relationships and sales history.

Customer Directory CRM Tools

Tesla Member Portal

At Odopod, I led interaction design on the project team that provided UX work for the Tesla member portal. This portal tracked online orders and provided updates on expected delivery times. Once the customer received the vehicle, the portal provided performance stats and allowed the customer to schedule maintenance services.

Google Naming Tool Discovery

I led a discovery project for an internal branding/naming tool for Google. Any branded products, services, or features created by Google have to be localized and trademarked around the world. This work documented the needs of all the teams involved in this process (legal, brand, product, specialists in particular markets, domains) and proposed a tracking system that would facilitate the proposed brand moving through these teams to final approval.

Playstation Console Store Wishlisting

At Odopod, I added new features to the PS4 Console Store and Streaming Service. I provided wireframes and prototypes to bring wishlisting and mid-content ads to Playstation’s massive consumer audience.

Hawaiian Airlines Booking Site Transformation

At Odopod, I was part of the team of interaction designers who delivered a complete redesign of the Hawaiian Airlines online booking experience. Features included searching for flights, rewards account creation, adding add-ons like lei greetings and car rentals. The site was designed to be “tablet first” and uses fonts and copy that reflected the airline’s playful branding.

Playstation Navigation Concept

At Odopod, I was part of the team of interaction designers who delivered a collection of navigation concepts to be delivered to the internal Sony design team. My direction focused on being able to quickly flip between TV shows, games, movies, and music through an easily accessible menu bar that prioritized recents.

Sephora E-commerce Modules

At Odopod, I led interaction design on a project that delivered several interactive promotional modules for the Sephora e-commerce site. Components matched products with products based on Tinder-style swiping of looks, as well as style quizzes, and editorial collections.

Freelance for Film, TV, and Theater

During COVID, I directed set dressing and graphics for film and television productions. I collaborated with cross-departmental directors and producers under tight deadlines, bringing narrative clarity to screen. A record of these projects can be found on my freelancer website.
